My name is Alex Agortsas and I have been conducting individual and group baseball lessons in Orange County for the past 15 years and have extensive experience working with players of all ages and ability levels in batting, catching, fielding, pitching, & speed and agility training. I take pride in both skill development as well as personal development. I coached  for 12 years @Irvine Valley College. I specialized in coaching the catchers and hitters. As a coach I helped lead IVC baseball to regional and super regional playoff appearances. I have assisted hundreds of players on to four-year schools and professional ranks. I am also currently an adjunct professor at Irvine Valley and I teach courses in Kinesiology and Health.

I was a catcher at Irvine Valley College during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. I helped lead our team to the program's best season in 2008. IVC set school records for wins in a season (32) and conference wins (14). 

I was a team captain and leader and earned the coveted "Iron I Award."

After my sophomore season I earned a scholarship to play at Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu.

During the 2010 season at Hawai'i Pacific, I was also named team captain and helped lead our team to a school record in wins in a season (39) and in conference (27). Hawai'i Pacific made it to the Division II Western Regional tournament final.

I played at Hawaii Pacific for two years and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

I also went on to receive my Masters in Coaching and Administration and another in Exercise Science from Concordia University in Irvine.
